Nam Hai Afternoon Cycling

3:00 Meet at Nam Hai resort. Having 15
mins of briefing and safe introdcution. Start riding 500 metters along the main
road after that, cross the road to go the the countryside path. Cycling along small and peaceful countryside road of Hoi An
where the water buffalos beside the farmers working in the paddy fields. We
will stop along the way for short break and time for pictures also learn more
about the agriculture in Hoi An.
3:35 First stop at the Kumquat plantation of Thanh ha Village. Find out about the decoration tree of the Tet festival.
3:50 A
short visit to Van Duc pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Hoi An. This pagoda used to be a place for merchants
from many countries coming to Hoi An for trading to come to worship in the 17th
century.
4:10 Continue
our ride about 3km to Tra Que Village – well-known for
organic vegetable plantations. Visit the votive paper handicraft making and
learn how and why Vietnamese burn votive paper on certain days.
4:30 Take a walk to a
vegetable garden to find down how to plan organic vegetable and how Vietnamese
use many kinds of herbs in daily cuisine.
5:00 Leave Tra Que village, we cycle along Coco river bank, enjoy the poetic scene in the afternoon. Visit the biggest banyan tree of the village, listen to local customary stories.
5:15 Take the short boat trip across
river to visit the smalest island of Hoi An with on 11 houses. Have coffer or
drink there an enjoy seasonal fruits from friendly host.
5:40 Riding back to hotel by the river
side.
6:00 Finish tour.
